Glittering Galaxy Painting
Recreate the awe inspiring wonder of space with this galaxy painting! Sprinkle glitter like stars 🤩 Here’s one my nephew did from the video below!
What you’ll need:
Acrylic paint in galaxy colours (We’ve used dark blue, light blue, white, dark purple, and light purple. Check out the photos from NASA below for colour inspiration).
Glitter (the more the merrier!)
Canvas/thick paper
1 brush
Cup with some water
Parchment paper
Process:
Splash acrylic paint onto your canvas straight from the bottle.
Use parchment paper to squish and swirl it all together.
Add more paint where needed and press the parchement paper ontop again to blend. (You can then make a second artwork by pressing the leftover paint on the parchment paper onto another canvas).
Sprinkle lots of glitter for your stars!
Water down some white acrlic paint in a cup and flick splatters across the painting to make white stars.
Check out the video ✨🎨🥳
